I Kind Of Like This Girl.

The only reason I picked up this issue of Vouge in September is because of Sienna Miller. I wasn't displeased at all. The feature was very long and insightful. This girls got killer style.

There was a quote from this article that I really loved...

True indeed Sienna, life is about being happy. It's about actually living, and breathing and having experiences. It's about love and compassion, and undestanding. We should all be so lucky to have this outlook on life.

I have a deep affection for Nas, I mean he's hot. He makes me vibe. His music really makes you think and his style is the perfect mix of a hood dude and a conscious ni**a. Whats not to love? Plus his wifey is fly, they make that marriage thing look real fab. But now I hear something that shocks me!


His new album, to be dropped in December under Def Jam records is proposed to be called the oh so shameful 'N' word. I say shame, cuz it is a damn shame, even tho we've all used it at one point or another. Just the other week I saw him perform at Sneaker Pimps which was dope, where he announced this to the crowd, though I swear I didn't hear it. But the crowd was hype. The vibe was madd love, and hands were in the air and mouths were spitting his rhymes the entire time. Then I hear this! NO GOOD NAS! true story.


and apparently reps. from Def Jam are displeased...


Nas is clashing with Def Jam over his plans to drop his controversially-titled new album NIGGA in December. The label claims it does not have any of the rapper’s new material scheduled for release this year. Nas announced his intentions to test race issues with the new album during a Friday night show at New York’s Roseland Ballroom.



Nas insists his December 11th album will be entitled ‘Nigger,’ despite reports of opposition from Def Jam.
“I don’t know where that [report] came from and neither does Def Jam,” Nas said early Thursday morning (October 18) in a Manhattan recording studio when asked about a Fox News article published earlier this week. “None of us knows where that came from.”
“You ain’t got no business worrying about what the word ‘n*gger’ is or acting like you know what my album is about without talking to me,” Nas tells MTV.com about the negative response to the album title from public figures, like Rev. Jesse Jackson.

I was very lucky to meet this amazing Brazilian jeweler. Dude got skills for real!

A young boy stares at the place he calls home. it is known as rochina and in the largest Favela in Brazil. it gets a bad rep of being very dangerous because of corrupt cops, drugs and poverty. But to see these people and speak to them, you see that there lives are filled with wonder and hope. They work to feed there families, drink coconuts on the beach, and dance some mean samba, they are forever surrounded by the beauty that is Brazil.

I have to tell you, it was cool to see some of these Brazilian designers doing collections for the fall. Of course you think Brazil and you think fly girls, drinking and dancing, and most imporantly the heat!! But they were def doing there thing out there, so be on the look out for hot designs from this beautiful country!
