A Week In Review.

So as the week winds down, lets have a recap. Unfortunately with everything goin on I mangaed to not get any pics in. Sorry. I know.

Saturday: Alife Party. Bowery Hotel. Full Open Bar 9PM-2 AM. Sponcered by Alife and Lacoste. I found out about this party the day before. That's usually how it goes. I don't know until I know. If you have ever attended an Alife party you know there always the shit. All the cool heads you see on the regs, and of course the ones you don't. The girls came dressed to the nines and the guys were as usual comfortable as hell in kicks and jeans. Hey what can you expect. lolz! Needless to say this was a dope night. I began off the evening with some Moet, and a bit of the asparagus wrapped in prosciutto that was being passed around by a bunch of cute cater waiters. Haha. Later, I chill out with some gin and tonics, my drink of choice. The pool games, shots of Patron, Champagne, and all the homies getting high on the balcony, made this a great night, what more could you ask for? The only thing was, it was hella brick. Even inside everyone had their jackets on.

Sunday: SUPER BOWL!! The Giants beat that stupid undefeated record that the Patriots had. Which I'm not sure if you know, but the team was sued for $500,000 earlier in the season for fraudulent activities, i.e. spying on the other teams plays in order to win games. So I guess they got what they deserved huh?? O YEAH! This was amazing game and an amazing night for New Yorkers everywhere. I was texting and bbm'ing people all night, when Eli Manning made that winning pass.  In the days that followed, everyone wanted to know where I saw the game, who's house was I at or what bar/party/etc. Fortunately I stayed my ass home. The night before was enough for me, and I decided, hey why not cook my self a nice meal, get a bottle of wine and chill. So thats just what the fuck I did.

Monday: Roxy Presents for 4 Year Anniversary of Monday Nights @ SWAY! Hosted by the lovely ladies of Worship Worthy. This was another chill night. Earlier in the evening a friend and I went over to Esptein's to chow down on some much needed cheap eats. 25 cent wings at this downtown spot are a must. Whether you rolling in the dough or not, you can't really say no, to a filling meal that'll cost you $5 to $10 bucks. No Sir! All the homies came out, and even a few heads I was surprised to see, which is always a pleasure. The music was bumping so I couldn't complain.

Tuesday: Up in the air. There were an enormous amount of things going on, but I opted to keep it low key. Did a bit of bar hopping, had some nice dinner, and called it a night. Simple and sweet.

Wednesday: Roxy and Missbehave Magazine host Le Royale Wednesdays @ Luke and Leroy (such a hood name. lmao.) In the West Village. On this night I opted to roll dolo. Sometimes thats the best steez there is. I roll up to the party, with a txt from a friend. Come out he says, I got a bottle lolz. I was already there! LMAO. Through out the night after drinking various types of vodka I waltz up stairs, and see Sylvia of KUDU performing. Fucking love that chick. She is soo good. If you haven't seen her live, damn your just missing it! Jeremy Scott and M.I.A. were in the buliding which was a small shock to me, but so so amazing nonetheless. Leave the party and head over to Room Service. Friends, B-days, good times. Somehow I managed to be sick the next day. I think it might have been the caffeine infused vodka. Thanks to those weirdos who think it's a good a idea to take Vodka and Red Bull to the next level! But I guess I must blame myself for drinking it! Damn.

Thursday: Hood By Air Fashion Show. Shayne and Raul, the masterminds behind this high end street wear brand, had their second fashion show, at the Oak Show Room, on Bond Street. I regret to inform you that I missed it! I had to get my hair done as everyone already knows, because I showed up with a doobie. Hey I don't mind keeping it hood. But don't get it twisted the girl was dressed down! There are only a few instances where a doobie is appropriate, and this was one of them! As I roll up, I see everyone, friends and homies that I don't see often enough so that was great. Give my congrats to Shayne & Raul and get a Hood By Air bag. The after party was @ R Bar a.k.a. home of the 1992 party. It was still maddd early so friends and I decided to go chill somewhere. Walk over to Cafe Habana so I can get that dope mexican corn. Mmm mmm Good! We tried to stop by Iggy's but our bartenders weren't there so that wasn't a go. Instead we roll to Fat Baby, which I was really excited about, because I really like that spot, and people don't do enough parties there. Any how that open bar was rocking and we took full advantage of it! Listening to some Reggae and just chillin. We later walk over to R Bar, which is the greatest thing about being downtown (everything is so close). It's cool and we chill for a minute. I heard about the Frank 151 party. It happens to be @ SCORES. The only strip club in NYC that matters. I wanted to go, but one else did. I end up rolling over there with my homie around 1 am or so. Everyone who wasn't @ the 92' party was there. Mostly the older heads in the game. I bumped into my brother, which was mad random, but so cool. I was gonna be real cool and buy him a drink but they were $20 a pop. Thanks bartender, I'm good. All in all, very cool night.

As I sign off, this has been a publication of "The Week In Review

Thank you.
